シルクスクリーン
シルクスクリーン（screenprinting, またはsilkscreening, serigraphyとも）とは、版画、印刷技法の一種。版材に絹が使われたのでこの名がある。シルクスクリーンを作るもっとも簡単なやり方は、図柄を切り抜いた紙やフィルムに、目の粗い薄絹のスクリーンを貼りあわせる、というものである。
これによってインクの通る部分と通らない部分が区分されるので、あとはそれを版として紙のうえに乗せ、適量のインクをヘラ（スキージー）で伸ばしてゆけばよい。
原理的にはステンシルと同じである。
ただし、この方法では精緻な図柄は作れない。
そこで通常は、あらかじめ溶剤を一様に塗布されたスクリーンから、図柄となる部分を熱や薬液で溶して「孔」をつくる。版の「孔」の部分を通過したインクが図柄となるので、版画・印刷技法のなかでは版画#孔版画|孔版に分類される（上記のステンシル、古くは、学校などで藁半紙に印刷していた謄写版|ガリ版印刷なども孔版の一種である）。
現在では、絹布ではなくインクの通りが良いように開発されたテトロン（ポリエステル）の糸で織られた布を使う場合が多く、工業印刷では金属製のメッシュを使用することもある。そのため、印刷業界では単にスクリーン印刷と呼ぶことも増えてきた。
